Arnt's parents were nice enough to give us the cradle in which Arnt and his sister both used when they were babies. It was a bright red color, so we decided it would look a little more modern if we painted it a nice antique white color. :) So we sanded and we sanded... and Arnt painted. And there you have it, a beautiful timeless heirloom, where our little boy will sleep his first few months along side our bed.
I've also painted the baby's room, and Arnt has finished the hall closet, by making the doors with mirrored tiles. We're very happy with the way it turned out. Just a nice coat of varnish is all that's left to do with those.
Now we just need to start checking off all those OTHER things on the baby countdown checklist! AAACK! Time's running out!
By the way, it's cold here today too! It's only 15 degrees F!
